He moved to Denver and attended Bel-Rea, graduating in 2012, and has been happy ever since. When not working, he has volunteered with raptor education and homeless pet medical care, and enjoys spending time outdoors. He currently exists to serve his two nap-mates, Penny and Ghost.

Jonathan

Veterinary Assistant

Jonathan is a San Antonio Texas native who moved to Colorado in the Fall of 2022. His passion for animal care came when he was fresh out of high school and took on a kennel position at a local animal hospital. He loved to take care of the animals and play with them outside all day which grew an interest to learn more. With this interest he took on many positions in different fields of animal care. He managed an Emergency Animal clinic, Luxury boarding facility, private practice and corporate practice to learn the best possible way to provide the best care for animals and their owners. Jonathan is excited to join our team and can’t wait to meet y’all and your fur babies. On his days off Jonathan likes to explore Colorado with his dog and boyfriend to see all of its beauty, work on his cars and keep up with his fitness at the gym. Jonathan is accompanied by his German Sheppard/Pitbull mix Maya “Thickums”, Russian Blue Santi “Kiwi” and his boyfriend Adam. Jonathan says he is not from Colorado but got here as quick as he could.
