Lori Reisig, DVM

Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Reisig grew up in Aurora Colorado and attended the DU Lamont School of Music, she was a middle school orchestra teacher for her first career.  Her change of careers came in 1996 when she attended Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and became a Certified Veterinary Technician.  She worked in several animal hospitals in all capacities as a CVT.   Her desire to grow in the profession, and her love of medicine, took her on to Colorado State University where she graduated with her DVM in 2009.   Dr. Reisig is a member of the AVMA and the DAVMS. Lori continues to play viola in the Arapahoe Philharmonic.  She lives in Littleton and has two mixed breed dogs named Joey and Mesa.

Melanie Wagner, CVT

Hospital Manager

Melanie grew up in Ohio and moved to Colorado after high-school.  She worked as a manager in the medical manufacturing field in the Boulder area for several years before switching careers and attending Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.  Melanie worked as a CVT in the Denver area and continued to use her skills as a manager in administrative positions as well.  She lives in Littleton with two mixed breed dogs from Indian Reservations.  She loves to travel and hike, and her hobby is photography.

 

Tammi Schwartz, CVT

Tammi started her veterinary career as a kennel technician in 1998.  While she attended Bel-Rea, Tammi worked as a receptionist and veterinary assistant until she graduated with her veterinary technician certification in 2002. Tammi has a particular interest in diabetes education/regulation and heartworm disease as a technician. Outside of work, she enjoys scrapbooking, cooking and quilting with her sister and mom; as well as spending time camping, swimming, going to movies and playing cards with her husband Dan and her son Zachary.  They share their home with two Boston Terriers, Toby and Leila.

 

Maddie Everett, CVT

Maddie graduated from Bel-Rea and has been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 3 years. She is especially interested in veterinary nutrition and preventative care for your pet. Maddie grew up in Littleton, Colorado and still lives in the area with her 3 dogs, cat, young son and fiancé. Outside of work Maddie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, singing karaoke and crafting handmade greeting cards.

 

 

 

Ash Sivils

Ash Sivils relocated to Colorado in 2015 from Nashville, TN. She worked as an international artist and curator for many years while participating in animal awareness and rescue.  She put her art career on hold to become a pet adoption specialist while attending CE courses to further her education in the animal field. Ash is most interested in behaviorism in domesticated animals. Outside of work she spends time with her boyfriend and their two kitties, Jack and Jude. She enjoys painting, hiking, biking as well as fishing.
